I am a Master of Counselling Psychology practicum student with a background in behavioral neuroscience, which helps me bring a grounded, empathetic, and client-centered approach to my work. My aim is to listen deeply, explore with curiosity, and help you make sense of whatever you’re navigating with authenticity, care, and collaboration.
I draw from narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) or “parts work” and emotion-focused approaches, all while keeping cultural context and diversity at the forefront of my practice. I’m passionate about supporting clients through life transitions, anxiety and depression, relationship concerns, trauma, and questions of identity or meaning.
Above all, I strive to offer an objective, supportive space - a soundboard where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we can work toward uncovering new perspectives, strengthening coping skills, and moving toward greater clarity and well-being.
Alexis is a practicum student currently completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology. She draws on Person-Centered approaches, prioritizing connection and trust as the foundation of your work.
She explores how you relate to your beliefs and emotions, and helps you understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect and influence one another.
Her goal is to be fully present with you, so she can understand your experiences and to create a space where you can show up as yourself.
